Sometimes, we misunderstand the difference between UI and UX design. Well, that's understandable because I was once in this situation but we would get to know more about UI/UX design.

What is UI Design?

The term "UI" means User Interface. It is concerned with how the product is laid out and the overall feel of the product when the problem has been solved.

What is UX design?

A UX design means User Experience design. A UX designer studies the interaction between users and their daily products and services to have a better understanding to solve their problems.

The everyday user interacts with their products and services either physical or digital such as apps, websites, food items, cars, clothes, etc. and this interaction helps the designer to find the right balance to solve the user's problems.

What is the difference between UI design and UX design?

UI designer sets each screen or page in which the user interacts. They design with quality and visually communicate the direction in which the UX designer has laid out. They choose the color which might be light or dark. They create mockups or prototypes (models, and images of the user's product) for easier understanding. They design the product with quality and create a cohesive style guide.

Whereas a UX designer ensures that there is a logical flow of the product from one step to the next which can be done by conducting tests or research on users to observe their behaviour. They are information architects whereby they organize information and content that users need to do their task. They use wireframes which provide a clear overview of the product to communicate their initial design ideas and explain how the design will function.
